Watch everybody this one might be mess as I will be using my new airbrush so I have been having ago at the cockpit and seats.
The seats and cockpit are airbrushed with tamiya at a ratio of 2:1 and it seems to work but I am not a fan of moulded seat belts but I have had ago at them.P1030434.JPG P1030435.JPG P1030437.JPG P1030438.JPG

Exhaust cans - often a tricky subject. I try all sorts of things, sometimes I find an effect I like, other times I don't and just settle for 'whatever'

The 1/48 is the one I'm after. Its a newer mould (mold?) so is hopefully a better fitting kit
I will highlight the bits that don't fit while the detailing is good some of the areas that I have had problems with going from front to back.
1. The air intakes gave me trouble both top and bottom.
2. Both leading edge slats need a bit of work to get them to sit.
3. The flaps are the same.
4. The airbrakes and the area around the exhaust nozzles would not line up.
And I am sure it's not my building!!
And finally where the tail meets the body there is a gap.P1030498.JPG P1030500.JPG P1030497.JPG P1030502.JPG P1030504.JPG P1030503.JPG
