Thanks so much Steve, you flatter me too much, it's not a bad offering though certainly not my best work.

Thanks Jim, I have a T72 coming down the pike, construction wise it's almost complete except for the tracks.
Am thinking of doing a weathering tutorial in my own crude and rudimentary manner, it's just about finding the time to post stages of method.
My way (Jim's way) has been likened to "Verlinden's way" though I am certainly NOT deserving of such a comparison. It's a laborious, multi-layered
system of dry brushing and dark washing that would probably bore the knickers off most folks, hence I haven't bothered.
P.S...this is not my best work, just something that's been hanging about in "finishing touches limbo" I just put it out to clear the bench.

Cheers...Jim

Hi Jim
I for one would be interested in an explanation of how you get such excellent results.

OK, that's it then.... I'm just gonna have to make time for it.
Weather here is hot and humid even in "those thar hills" not exactly good logging weather.
Sweat attracts the biting deer flies and sawdust sticks to one like glue so it's break time for a bit, though one must not get too far behind.
Think I'll feign some old age ailment and have the young'ns continue on, but I do worry about them without the old man pestering..er..ah..I mean supervising.:smirk:
