hi all I won this kit off ebay a while ago (never heard of Waco kits) but thought it looked good, was advertised as diecast but as you can see it is pressed steel, not quite the same thing.

anyway made a small start. still not sure what I am going to do with it yet as its not very detailed and I am not even sure of the scale I would guess at 1/20 but dont really know.

Nice work on the body Ken, this could be an interesting build.

Could is right can't think of an angle for it yet, at the moment I am thinking of putting it in an old barn covered in rubbish and stuff, but that's only cause I can't think of a thing better or maybe something along the lines of warspite exploding due to vandalism on a rough old street, but I'm getting bored of leds and explosions. Perhaps I will just build it as is and call that done, I dunno bit deflated at the moment.

Very nice work Ken. I love the paint in its body, it could be in different color :smiling3:

Thanks for all the comments, just got my idea for its setting, will be a simple one but hopefully quite effective.

Oh and hello Lucia welcome to the friendliest forum on the net. Why don't you introduce yourself at the bottom of the screen in introductions I'm sure the others would give you a very warm welcome.

well here it is in all its glory(still got to put it on a base) best packaged kit I've ever bought shame its the least detailed kit if I had'nt painted it I doubt it would have taken a hour to build , the wheels are the worst bit they are so thin so there is nothing you can do with the back of them and they are some sort of vynle paint enamel or acrylic wont stick to.

Great job. The 2 tone though the body is nice. It looks like that old 'steel' kit is pretty much the same as the old plastic ones. Some good classics out there on ebay.
