That looks great Colin, a good deal better than the attempt I built in my teens...

Can you tell us more about the Trumpeter riveting tool? How does it work, and is it expensive?

Monica, it's something called 'EZ Line' a very fine elastic that's also very strong. Easy to use with CA (Super glue)

Sure Mike, I can't remember the cost exactly but around £5.00 in the UK. It has four toothed blades (wheels) the finest for 1:72 and the largest for 1:24 I imagine. It's straight forward in its use, I suppose its limiting factor is the hardness of the plastic being worked on.

Ian, rigging, it is a pain on a 1:72 model, but a very necessary evil.

So, nearly there. The landing gear legs are attached by the smallest amount of plastic, will they last ? only time will tell. I've gone for a slightly old tired look. A lot more detailing to do, but as the pic is called, nearly there. So I should get it finished tomorrow, leaving the way clear for the 1:24 GB.
