Little Scene Project....

What is your opinion about that...?

The idea is a similar of Si’s and Alan’s little scenes. ( Si always build little scenes with meaning and Alan want to build, this year, little dios)....so, me..., as good copier.....I present my option :smiling3:

In fact, I have in mind a related scene for a while. I was wishing to build an old door and a little wagon using natural wood!! This is the perfect place :smiling3: and is a good opportunity to scratch builds the both items and learns to weather the wood as well.

Imagine the wagon, the old door (very, very old) and one deteriorate placard on the soil that the soldier is looking at. Represents the entrance of a German mine.

And maybe there is a secret inside....? :smiling3:

Now I have to choice between:

A / Post it as a normal little scene. With some green vegetation and, maybe, my first own tree (scratch build)....

B / Or post in the winter GB, and recreate the entire scene with snow. Many details will be losing there....

Suggestions...? o_O

Thanks

Polux

Polux I would go with A, then if it doesn't look right you could hide the mistakes with snow then it would become B.

That's a good option Ian :smiling3:

But then I'm losing the opportunity to enter on the snow GB!

Nice setup Polux,

like the idea, and very interesting, u can go for a half and half dio, one half winter and the other one summer, or 2 of the same dio's one summer, one winter, if thats not an option I think you would create a beautiful winter Dio.

Cheers Richi

Looks interesting Polux. Maybe that's an idea for a GB next year (I don't want to upset all of Ian's hard work organising this year's lot!). Everyone could build a small dio on the same size base - say about 225mm x 225mm (9" x 9" in old money).

That's great idea Gern! Noted ;)

This one is really small.....about 140mm x 95mm. But is what I was looking for!!

I would do it in the snow, the soldier has found a back entrance to a German mine area-a sinister weapons place-the way he is bending down do some bones and striped prison clothes examine them.

Yeah a Polux snow scene!!!

As to what the GI is doing.....it could be any thing from placing a demolition charge to pulling a bottle of cold beer out of the snow.

On a lighter note, he could be building a snow man. lol
