That's coming along very nicely indeed Trey. Good save on the canopy!

Super work Trey. Be interested to see how that light blue affects the final finish.

Wow, this is coming on really quickly. Fabulous details being applied to this and the aftermarket stuff really will make this build special.

Great stuff

Thanks Joe ,the light blue is actually part of the paint scheme on the full scale one.

Paul thanks appreciate that.

I got the basic blue on and the preshade seems to be pretty effective, usually I have a hard time with this and dark colors.

Then a coat of gloss in prep for a decal session

That's really starting to look very special Trey! The Corsair has such a muscular no-nonsense attitude :smiling3:

Steve, Polux, Patrick thanks for the kind words! Joe thanks, yes I agree it is strange . I had to look up several reference pics to make sure I was'nt seeing things. Different pics show different shades of that light(sky) blue so not sure which was correct, chose a between option from all the ones I viewed and rolled with it. John thanks for the vote of confidence!

Decal session went really smooth for once, after a dose of some Walthers solvaset they laid right down tight !

Ian, Ian M thank you both

Weathering is now complete just have to fit the fiddly gear and gun bay doors, also need to move the exhaust back into the cowl just noticed they are sticking out too far

Photo etch and styrene complete the fold mechanism and it is very delicate! It wo'nt take much force to break the folded wing off so extreme care will be a must in the final stages

Very close to sealing the deal with this unit, thanks to all for keeping me motivated with the positive comments!
