this is the I presume new release by revell of the old matchbox kit , it goes together better than the airfix release by a country mile but still isn't great so that just says more about how bad the airfix one is

You can build this into a very good build with a margin of work myself I was losing my mojo at the time so it's a bit rough around the edges

I chose the RAF version of this because I've already built the FAA version , the decals I scrounged around for as there were no decals in this kit but strangely enough I do think these decals are for a bucc although I will admit they are for another FAA version but I did find a pick of an RAF bucc with the same roundels so ive got away with it :D

Nice brick Alan.

Is it wrap round camo or are the undersides grey....

Nice build of an old and sometimes troublesome kit.

Cheers pete , it's a really easy kit with a few problems which with work can be sorted so I think you'll do a better job than I did :smiling3:

I really like that Alan, the camo is great & it seems to have a slight satin sheen that looks just right.

I thought it was 1/48, so it's definitely worth a gong :smiling3:

I've seen an old airfix 1/48 on eBay and I'm thinking of having it :smiling3: I know it will be a nightmare of a build but it's such a nice looking aircraft :smiling3:

Great job Alan, I wish someone would do a new kit of this one in 1/72 and 1/48, not sure why it keeps getting overlooked.

your not wrong there paul , I think we bossed the military jet era from the end of the war right up until the 80's and we had the best designed looking aircraft as well

Nice one Alan, I think you've done a great job on the paint work. Nice result from an older kit.
