Hi guys!!

The big german with his poor english has news from his workbench again.... ;)

Here comes my Bf 109 G-2 "Trop" in 1/32 scale. It's a Trumpeter-Kit and really nice to build.

My 109 is a G-2 of the 3 / JG 53 "Pik Ass" (Ace of Spades) with an interesting camouflage scheme, as it was used in the Mediterranean.

Cheers

I like that, excellent build. I do like those trop 109 schemes...

What paints and weathering materials did you use? It is nicely done.

One of those models where, immediately you've clapped eyes on it, your immediately see the quality. Nice paint job, and it's always good to see close-ups.

Very nice Stefan.

Notice the rivets. It look as if you have touched every one with paint. Some job and it is worth it. Very nice attention to the minor detail..

Thank you for your kind words, mates. I'm very pleased that you like my new "Gustav".

Barry, for painting I used Gunze (RLM 78 underside, RLM 79 upper side), Vallejo Model Air (RLM 80 camo spots), Revell and Modelmaster for details.

But the color numbers maybe not quite correctly. In the Mediterranean and Africa aircrafts were often camouflaged locally and the germans also used italian colors.
