I'm with Dave. It will be great to see this old kit brought to life.

I built this as a kid, remember it was not a bad kit and even now I reckon you could produce something to rival the latest Airfix 1/72 Gladiator offerings. All that rigging, yes truly a mission in itself, but it has to be nothing compared to the Walrus!

Hi Laurier

I'm buiding 3 Gloster gladiators at the moment in 1/72 ( faith hope and Charity) from the Malta defence. The kits very good and AIrfix did a re tooling recently and it goes together no problem. I bought the MK1 Gladiator but the MAlta defence used the mk2 Sea gladiator and so I had to go through my spare drawer to find the correct propellors.

I'll post some pics when my gladiators are near complete

Happy building

Hi Robert

Nice project. looks good on a shelf with a ruined runway scene.

I bought mine about 5 or 6 years ago as my first model to construct. The rigging scared me off until now. So mine must be an old tooling. bits of plastic sticking out all over the place. between the tyre and rim and about a milimeter all around the wings and tail plane. Mine is going to be a two arm prop.

Look foward to seeing your results. Mine is going to have pre war livery with the red stripe along the fuselage.

Nice work Laurie, this is coming along nicely. Your build progress reports are informative and to the pint, top marks for that. BTW SQNLDR Oliver should invest in some sun cream, Gladiators have little protection from the sun for their pilots Old Bean.
