Thanks for the encouragement. THere were many moments of despair over the mottle...\ said:I agree, very nice job on the 'mottle'.

The dragon ME 262A-1a is a nice kit, tooled from trimaster toolings. However, fit can be tricky if you do not dry fit, especially around the engine nacelles. The Tamiya and HB ones also have tricky fit around the engine nacelles. Only the trumpeter one has been the closest to getting the nacelles right in terms of fit, and I have two Trumpeter 1:32 Me 262A-1a and a B-1a in the stash.\ said:Actually I'm wrong it's the Dragon me 262 A - 1/U4 I've my eye on are you familiar with that set? If so any feedback would be appreciated
However, in terms of cost, I would take the HB one. They have the U4 version, and nearly every variant of the me 262 in 1/48. Not meaning to bash the Tamiya one, but the Tamiya one is simply lacking in variants, and it has way too many rivets for a 262. The HB 262 also has rivets, but not as many.\ said:My word John, that is looking mighty impressive! You did a cracking job with the paintwork, it's how I would want to do it I just hope mine will turn out as good as yours mate. Tell me I have the Eduard 109 and Revell harrier waiting in line but the 262 may jump as I have my eye on the hobbyboss but from your experience shall I take the Tamiya or the hobby boss?
