Hi guys!!!

Another turkish eagle from my workbench. It's Hasegawa's F-104G in 1/48 scale. Really a great kit!!!

In the beginning of the 60s TUAF gets its first "Starfighter". In preparation for the new type of aircraft, the 144. Filo selected in Mürted-Ankara as the first application season. On 10 May 1963, the first 15 F-104G arrived by sea. They were followed by two TF-104G in July.

Over the next few years more Starfighter were added, which came in several versions and from various countries (including Germany).

The Starfighter was in service until 1996 until it was dissolved by the F-16.

A total of 383 F-104G, TF 104G, 104G and RF-F-104S flew under turkish flag.

My model shows an F-104G of 192. Filo.

Kit: Hasegawa

Colours: Gunze, ModelMaster, Revell, Vallejo

Weathering: Washing and Pastels

Cheers

Stefan :smiling3:

Slim n sexy ... fantastic job.

I always love the side fuel pod of this plane. It is unique, and the especially the bright orange color on it... just love it.

Yes, those pesky F16's have a lot to answer for. But anyway, great build there Stefan.
