I wondered if anyone's got any tips with regards to laying plaster of Paris to a plastic base, I've roughed up the base and will be using PVA glue to stick them together. Is this about all I can do or is there something else people have done in the past?

Mesh maybe attached to base 1st (could use fuse wire or garden wire) to form a cage giving the plaster something to grab hold off or make you base then screw from the underside of you existing base into the plaster

Some wood screws through the plastic base poking up into the plaster will do the trick Adrian.

If you can get some washes which go over the screws gives double the strength.

I just rough the plastic up and whack the plaster on. Nothing has fallen of yet.
