I do have a fascination with Russian armor myself, Though crew comforts were all but null , mechanical reliability and fighting performance were high on the scale, couple that with copious numbers and you have a formidable opponent indeed:eek:.............Jim:oops: I know, I know, our stuff is more technologically advanced but with all our budget cuts and all their massive building up of late I don't think that's a matter of importance any longer  View attachment 114478

That's definitely a battle weary KV 2! I'll wait until the completed thread to add more except ....

I'm hoping that base isn't finished Moni? I just think the grass is too neat & even - looks like she's strayed onto Centre Court at Wimbledon!

well I have decided,to go for a bit of a street seance for the setting of this one, ;)

I have made a start and as she is so,big i think the sizing looks ok,

as i did see a couple of pics and it seamed to sit just under the eveline,so just below the 1st floor should be ok i think ?

thks,Jim,that's what i needed to hear,

Its a bit hard to real get it,right, but that's what i do need is others saying it looks ok, ;)

its hard to find pic,s of it with people or up again s a building,

from the pics,I have seen even the lower hull is over waist height of a man or more.or even shoulder

from the pic with the guy on the top even the turret was say 3/4 standing high for most,

and the other pic, with it in the foreground, again the building in the back round,it is set above eve leave as well,

Catch up time...

Without blowing too much smoke up yer bum- you have a fantastic ability to paint detailed models, this looks really nice, I have no idea about accuracy etc... But as a model in its own right it's cracking as were the predators.

I'll see if I can get the missus to paint as good lol, going to ease her in to her uss voyager.

Look forward to the dio.

I do hope that she dose enjoy to paint and , would be nice to see how she gets on,just don't push is the trick, ;)
