Jim I only have one pair of hands, I really am beginning to think 10 on the go at once is a bit too many, think I may have to put a few on the back burner, but which ones? Not the Sovriegn, have to finish her she's paid for not the cb 750 enjoying that too much the corvette should be an easy finish, then there's the other corvette (the ship) I don't know Jim maybe I'm getting too old for this modelling stuff, good job I'm getting to relax tomorrow, although I will be suffering withdrawal symptoms, this modelling addiction will be the death of me.

put both corvettes on the back burner for now. Finish the Sovereign, then leave the mustang and the corvette the car. Finish the corvette the SHIP, then finish the CB 750 then corvette the car, then the mustang sorted see no problem :D :p:cool: ;) . PS cousin ken gave mum two model catalogs from the place where he works git bits half price maybe I got my catalog you have one to when you come down next OK

Like the sound of the catalogue laying on a sunbed soaking up the sun in turkey at this very moment.

Just got a look at this and looks really cool kit ( damn I wish I had bought one now ) I saw one in hobbyvraft the other week at £12 reduced to clear but I bypassed it. I wonder if it's still there

I'm on board as always liked the mustang

Hi all, well ive had to change the hinge as it interferes with the inner panel, then guess what the inner panel dosent even fit (opened a whole bag of worms here) the inner panel is so far out I have loads of scratching to do ( I think revell didnt worry too much about the interior since the door are supposed to be shut so no one will see much of the interior, the rear door pillar sits at a diffrent angle to the door, ti dosnt reach the roof ( there is a gap of at least 1/8 of an inch) the front part where it joins the root of the window is about the same amount of gap, wont be doing this again in a hurry.

Good paint job! LOVE the technical aspects of the door hinge mechanism. I agree 1k clear would finish it off.

Forgive my ignorance but what is 1k clear and where would you get it from?

Also I've heard you "car people" talk of zero paints are they really that good.

As Si said a wacky paint job Ken I'm liking the work on the doors hope you solve the issues.

Think when I do mine they will be staying firmly closed:smiling3:

Keep up the good work mate.

Nice work on the tech with the hinge ( shows we can update kits ( not all aftermarket) but sheer thought and ingenuity

Love the colour scheme and off set paint job

Cheers
