hello everyone,

well here is wo bott a scratch build that just came out of nothing, I was just clearing up some bits after completing a model and them I had a vision, the next thing was I had bits stuck together and was looking at a skeleton of sprue just waiting to be clothed. this is the result a very odd looking thing but a great deal of fun to build as a break from large scratch builds. Please let me know what you think and be honest it does help me to improve, sorry about the paint job not my thing I just love building.

best regards Barrie ( the old guy )

I really like that, very clever Baz, what an imagination. If I see a pile of sprues, I think 'bin'

Again, you and your scratch builds do not fail to amaze Barrie, always a pleasure to see what you come up with. This is superb love it.

I really like it. It shows a lot of creativity and skill. I especially like the detail of the head, and the front of the torso with the heavy bolts. Kind of Jules Verneish.

This is super super scratch building at its best and its spectacular because it's a one off and I doubt it could be replicated by anyone

Love the colours and the detail too

Once again thank you all for the kind comments, mr fendlander never throw that sprue it can be so useful I used to throw away loads now I save as much sprue as possible and ask people to always save me the bits from thier kits. I wish that I could paint better though I know what I want to do but it never comes out the right way, I just like building. we should organise a robot build week and just see what happens then a space craft week or month and so on it might be lots of good honest fun.

thank you one and all for your good comments, some people would just say I am a crazy old guy but who cares,

hang on to all your scrap bits there may be a prize winning model in that pile of junk, I used to throw out loads of stuff but have now learned to always look at things from a different angle and then just go for it and see what happens, you never know what you can do with a pile of old sprue, I am a poet and do not know it

regards Barrie,

on the steam punk theme Monica here is one I made a long time back
