I know there's already one been built on here but I've started mine as it's for an IPMS SIG table at Telford.

I was lucky enough to have the Ravenscale LED kit bought for me along with the kit for Christmas, I'm hoping to get hold of a set of the Aztec decals either buy having them shipped or pi9cking up a set when in NY later in the year :smiling3:

So here are the box and sprue shots and I'll try and keep the pictures coming as I go.

Looking forward to seeing how you tackle the lighting Adrian.
The lights shouldn't pose a problem as they are all pre-wired and have a great instruction sheet for placement.

Is this the one you wanted to put in the under water scene Adrian ?
I will be watching also.
I'm lucky enough to have two kits, this one will be a stand alone with the lights, I'm still considering the second one in some sort of diorama from the opening scene as it rises out of the water :smiling3:

The second option would look fantastic not that the first one would look just as fantastic. I even thought once of wouldn't it be good to do the war of the worlds monster coming out of the sea with the ferry scene ( but there's 2 problems there 1 I don't have the kit and most importantly I can't do water scenes ( I'm just not that good

Small update, managed to fit all the saucer LED's and button it up, used a grey primer that I will rub back till I have a decent finish on it.

Started working in the hull, drilled out all the holes that will have LED's fitted into and glued in the starboard side windows, hope to have the LED's attached for those later today.

I have a short video of the saucer section lit up but can't figure out how to upload it lol :smiling3:
