Alclad candy colour warning

Hi all for those of you who use these colours DO NOT LEAVE THEM IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT
Here is my Traction Avant after very little time in the sun, it went from this.

And it's not confined to candy orange this is how the red looks after the same period in the sun

Damn...:eek::sad: Tamiya clear also has the tendency to break down in UV light.

Oh no what a disaster... :sad:
I'd never even thought about the effect of UV light on our model paints?!

I hope you can fix it somehow because it is a fantastic model and paint job for sure!

Thanks mate tbh I won't bother changing it I loose interest in them very quickly once built, I finished this about 2 months ago and that's all it took to do that (it was sitting in the scrap room in front of the window for most of that time. It is a great kit which I highly recommend the build is on here under Heller 1/8 traction avant cabriolet conversion it is a huge kit and is the second ive built and i have plans for a third in the future (thats how good it is) it has 1054 parts and is the most detailed kit I've ever built.
