I am going to London in couple of days and I am wondering if there is a good hobby shop which offers variety of kits. Thanks!

Anything closer to central London?

Nope. There used to be a branch of Modelzone in WC1 but that has long gone. Hamley's has a model department but they sell at RRP. Ian Allen on Lower Marsh next to Waterloo station has a very small selection, their main line is books.

Thank you guys but I think I will skip it as Hannants seems to be the best but it is too far away from where I will be.

Where in London are you staying? Hannants is about 35 minutes by public transport from Oxford Circus which is about as central as it gets. You could make a day of it and visit the RAF museum just a few minutes walk from Hannants.

There used to be the aviation model shop in West Ealing no idea if it still there though they did stacks of kits of all types not just aircraft

St Martins Models linked to above does die cast models. Not my thing, but it looked like an impressive selection when I stuck my head in a while ago.
Cheers

I will try again. I am interested in plastic car model kits. :smiling3:
