Waiting for a delivery. I feel your pain. I actually ran out of models once. I remember waiting for postie and my PR Spitfire. Anyway, the 104. A great looking aircraft. One I would like to build, but just haven't got around to doing it. So,I'll watch you builds yours instead.
Thanks Barry. So MRP can be chipped. It's tough, but possible.
Cheers. It would have been too easy to carry on and do a little bit more.
Thank you Andi. I see your questions have been answered. You can see we have very knowledgeable people on this forum.
Not bad Dave, but I paid £17.00 for...
The Revell 1:32 Spitfire Mk2a, available new for less than £30.00 Well worth it. I built it OOB over the last few months. I actually suspended building this for the Bi-plane build, so can't really say how long it took me, but some of you professional builders could knock this out in a couple of...
I missed the build (gardening and old car season is here) but yes, this looks brilliant. I'll have to do a bit of home work on the scheme though, unsurprisingly, it's not something I've come across before.
Well done old boy, splendid job. The wood came out very well. I wonder if this pilot took note of the Germans flying around and decided he wanted a bit of colour too.
A simply excellent build Allen. And then you get a medal for it as well. Very well deserved. Looking at your build got me thinking, 'I wonder when it was, that German Engineers started to think about aerodynamics ? '
Great finish Steve. We've all seen the publicity photos of aircraft and their armament. But I don't think I've seen anyone actually do it in model form - great idea.
