Ok guys, so its been i think around 7 years since I did this last, thought i'd warm up on this Lambo thats been sitting around for some time. I need to get some more supplies, but i thought id make a start on the preparation, first with the body. The shut lines are very shallow on this kit, and...
Yes so my explanation is: I got into motorcycles (real ones) and forgot this hobby. Just opened up my old modeling case, i need to service the airbrush, go through some of the paints, throw away the bad ones, get some new supplies, and make a start on the Muria. The GTO got shelved due to the...
Hi Ken.
Wow what a good job you are doing on this, I have just logged back into this forum since 2016 i think. Your skill level has increased significantly! Well done buddy!
Hi Everyone, wow I forgot about this forum. I took a long break from model making, I last logged in here i think back in 2015.
Looking at starting the hobby up again.
Looks good. Love the pinwashed seats, sometimes it's best to leave as it is and you have built a good model.
Just a note, if you want propper scale mettalic paint go to zero paints.

Sorry for lack of progress. This has been halted for a while. I am currently rebuilding a Saab 95 Aero Turbo, a real one and since its been so flipping hot in the conservatory (this is where i do my model making) , im not exacly looking forward to sitting in the hot sun amoungst pain thinners...
Perfect in every way. I think I'm going to have to do a clean build soon. Can't help but weather my models underneath though. o.O o.O o.O
How did you get the finish on the exhausts? That flat black looks real. Any technique you can share?
Yeah that's exactly how I did mine using hubrol enamel its dried rock hard. In fact after fully dry I pressed down again and it's made it look much better. I am going to do a second pass also. Wait till fully dry and press down to reduce the 'fluffiness'
Looks good to me Scott. Tips wise? Erm not sure really just enjoy the build and dont rush it. I find as soon as i start to get bogged down with the kits i build its because i am spending too much time on it and need to take a break from it for a week or so.
If you want a flawless finish for...
