Hi all, I haven't been on the forum for a good while, but the modelling hasn't stopped. My next project will be a Hawker Hunter FGA 9. I have the kit I need, but I need some help with paint scheme and decals.
Backstory:- Through my job as a care assistant I meet all sorts who have come to live...
Cracking stuka Bart, brilliant paint job.
Sorry if this sounds like a noob question but you say the green was airbrushed and you freehanded the yellow - with a hairy stick? as the hard edges are really good.
Hats off to your patience Sir.

@Razzie43 Yeah I thought that too, I'm not going to change what I have done and see what it looks like when it's finished
@PhotoPhil thats an idea.
@rickoshea52 Never thought of that! Thanks :)

Hi, I haven't posted on here for a long time but I hope someone can help.
I was spraying my aggressor squadron F-16 in its light grey/blue grey camo. After finishing the blue grey coat and removing the masking and noticed a few areas where the paint was not right. I picked up the airbrush...
Yeah, I build one of those when I was a kid , seem to remember I struggled with the skids, thin spindly things,, I think it was the only helicopter I ever did.
Nice find Alan.

All's well now thanks, Christmas and New Year were hectic, too much work, my Mams been ill, worrysome, but she seems better now, and I've just had a BCC (benign skin cancer) removed from my face, a bit scary, and I got a cyst in my jaw that needs removing, more surgery in about 18 weeks, but all...

Thanks for the great comments guys, and I'm well pleased with these two as I've tried out a few, well new to me anyway, techniques, like sticking the F-86's canopy on with Klear and drilling holes in the MiGs nose to add more lead weight so it sat on its nose wheel, had to drill through the...
Thanks for all the really good comments guys.
@ Mike (The Migrant) The bomb wings were aft of the wheel wells so after take off the wheels retracted as normal, though looking at it again, it must have been a tight squeeze.
@ Tony(Yakface) Thanks for the encouragement about the mottle, I free...
This is "something a bit different" I've recently done. The kit was a Revell Fw 10A-8 but it had a B&V 246 "Hagelkorn" (Hailstone) gliding bomb with it, so I did it.
I'd never seen this bomb system before and liked the look of it.
It was a nice kit to build, and although getting...
I've been away from the forum for a while due to health problems, but between times I've managed to get some modelling in. I've always fancied doing a Korean war duo, but was put off building them due to the the shiny NMF. I gave it a go though, and here is the results. the kits are a Hobbyboss...
I finished this just before Christmas, but this is the first time I've had time to post it.
This was the first time I tried using Blu-tac masking and it didn't come out as nicely as I would have liked, but it's not bad.
Here's a piccie in B/W just for the fun of it.
Thanks for...
