I am doing another mega rusty vehicle that will be on a small board for the RC tank fests-another eye candy piece and filler.

I got this cheap as it was missing a front wheel, ideal for my plans :D

I tried a new rust process to create flakes and lifting.

I did not sand and prime the painted body prior to applying the pigments.
While still wet I sprayed matt varnish, once dry this makes a white effect in places and cases the pigment to craze and lift from the original paintwork.
I then gently scraped off the flakes and then re-applied using PVA undiluted, I then used more rust pigment to fill in the areas.

Only other thing was remove the seat pad and add some springs.

There is the grille and bonnet to sort and some other small details but so far it seems to be going well.
