Done and dusted, other than a few fit issues it was not a bad kit with great detail.



Alclad airframe alluminium in different shades on different pannels and burnt iron on the jet exhaust.

Great work Theuns. The varying shades of Alclad is very effective. Which is quite ironic, as I've just bought a 1:48 Mig 15 to practice my nmf, along with some new Alclad airframe aluminium !

Great result. Using different shades of aluminium has really worked well. I have seen it done a couple of times but never as effectively as this.

Jim I actually only used alirframe alluminium alclad, not different alclads I dont believe in that.
I just spray untimm I have a darker shade of allu, then mask off and slpray more of the same alclad to lighten it, then the tonal difference is not as hard.
