Hi every one I have been jumping from build to build recently, having to wait on client instructions etc.
so here are some build shots of the Trumpeter 1/32 F-14D Super Tomcat, with lights etc

This is going on to a deck which is rather large, 1Meter lenght, this will enable 3 other biulds to be on the same deck

The deck is totaly scratch built

enjoy

Impressive looking kit and apparently better than the ancient Tamiya 1/32.  A real stunner of a build and I love the weathering effect.   I look forward to seeing the other models being added to the diorama.

One of these days I will build a series of these modern(ish) 1/32 jets, the F14, F15, F18, F4 being among my targets with a 1/32 Buccaneer hopefully one day  being produced....

Hi Mike

Absolutely terrific work. Great detail on the Tomcat and I love the figures and carrier deck base.

Truly inspirational stuff!

Cheers

Erm          WOW.

So what is al the wiring about. We need to know what they are for and where you got them :smiling3:

That is going to be one hell of a display when finished. Is it your own or for a customer?

Hi Ian

this is a build for a customer, it built so it slides on to a shelf in his study, hence the bit cut out at the back, would love to keep it but I dont have the sapce for this.

there will be 3 more builds being added to it next year

the lights ate for all the nav lights, landing lights etc as I did on the tonka, and hawk, I work with Jenifer at JS minitures, she programs the lighting chip to match the video I send her of the actual plane ( see tonka see hawk ) this way I get the correct puls etc, its time consuming but worth it in the end, on the tonk I took it one stage further and made the cockpit dials light up
