Hi guys I finally made a start on this kit. I know its a fairly old kit with some issues but I've been waiting for a while to get my hands on one.
I made a start on the hull interior and rear bulkhead. The torsion bars are slightly to long and needed shaving down and the locating pins needed removing from the hull to get the correct fit the hull is slightly warped at the rear but it was an easy fix with a clamp and glue. The exhaust stack has some major mould lines that needed removing and the shrouds at the top are a bit fiddly to assemble. Here's the first set of pictures of the hull

Good luck if it's anything like my Takom King Tiger!!! ;)

Dry-fit everything, build separate modules that you attach when you know the other nearby modules fit. Paint often.
Oh, also watch out for the carpet monster! He ate one of my valve cover caps which had to be scratch built to fix the problem...
Did I mention paint often? If not then paint often!

Managed to get some more work done on my tiger. I have assembled the drive train and power pack and some of the cooling system. Just need to add some piping to the engine before starting to paint the interior

Hi all haven't had much of a chance to get to the bench for any length of time as I have just started a new job and been working some mental shift patterns. I had managed to get the lower hull interior assembled and painted.

Only just seen this post Col, nice work so far. I've got this kit in the stash, but I'll wait until you've finished yours so I know where all the problems are. :D

Managed to get a bit more done between shifts. I used an oil wash to dirty the fighting compartment up a bit.
