WELL Barry coulnt you just have filed off the end of the bomb bay door an then fitted it or would that not have worked ?

Not really Chris.

There are a number of problems, for one thing the side doors are very thin, quite fragile and I am sure it would not have survived the filling and sanding that would have been needed.

Sometimes it just isn’t worth the effort.

Shame but it's a hobby, we do it for fun and relaxation. No value in continuing with something which you know is not going to be up to your usual, expected high standard.
Would you consider buying the kit again and taming the beast sometime in the future.
