Painted the front of the engine cowls and spinner caps yellow tonight. took me an age to mask around the curves and with hindsight i should have painted these first then masked off the other way and then painted the grey/OD. But it's don't now and once i've klear'd the yellow i'll make a start on the NMF nose.
Didn't go on too bad Steve. Had a problem with one spinner but once i stripped it with revell cleaner it was fine. Just sprayed low pressure and low paint volume, making sure it dried before i sprayed a little more. I now know why i dislike working with this scale though. I have fingers like pigs.......
Cheers Tony. I do like it although i have to say i'm going to try to stick to 1/48 and above from now on as 1/72 is getting to small for my fat fingers lol
Right i'm as far with this as i can go without adding the canopy. I've tried to mask it off three times now and lost the rag each time so i've sent away for some canopy masks for it. I'll finish it when they arrive. But basically all that needs doing is add the canopy after it's painted and add the guns.
