Here is the second of three mini dioramas...At sea.
I've tried to depict a rough sea with the lifeboat ploughing through the waves, heading out to the casualty.

I used the same method with these pictures as I did with my J.F. Kennedy's PT109 dio....Simply tilted the base to the sky and let the light do the rest! No fiddling with after. What you see is untouched.

Here's a tip...When taking photos outside, never think the photos look o.k. I did, only to discover 3/4 of them had power cables which run across the field behind us, showing up behind the lifeboat, prat!

So here are the pictures. Too many, but I hope you like them.....

Cheers,

Ron

Don't know why the pictures have appeared before the description, I must have pressed a wrong button!

Thanks Si, grab the sick bag quick!

Your comments and awards are well received, especially when I see the terrific 'boaty' models coming out of your own stable.

Cheers,

Ron

You flatterer...this is a terrific build, the pictures are superb. I have another sunken 1/125 scale U-boat to build in another sunken state, this one is defo going to be sold.

That's as good as you'll see anywhere - and better than many I've seen at shows. *****

Very well done young Ron. Five very well deserved stars.

I recon you could show that and win a gong. As with the first one. Go treat your self and buy a life boat for the other one.. I bet you could sell them to the local RNLI station.

Thanks ever so much for the brilliant and humbling posts chaps. I'm well pleased you like my second offering of this trilogy.

Your comments have spurred me on to complete third. Luckily I'm able to do so, 'cos I covered the hull with cling film prior to siliconing, and the boat popped out a treat after the stuff went off. So I'm able to use the same boat for all three dios.....

Thanks again for your great response - and the suggestions duly noted......

Cheers,

Ron

Thanks Andy.....I'll need more than a single tube of silicone to tackle that beauty of yours though!

I remember you wrote you were thinking of 'doing' a Lifeboat next....You wouldn't go far wrong choosing this Severn Class....I think it's the best looking boat of the R.N.L.I. fleet by a mile.

Thanks again,

Ron
