Some updates before primer surfacer, refining and sanding the whole fuselage. The canard was resin parts so it's quite hard to deal with. The moulding lines in the middle of canopy removed by using different grit of sandpapers and finally, polished with Tamiya compound. Now she's ready for primer surfacer!

Done masking canopy, done sanding and done checking. It's time for primer surfacer. I use Mr.Hobby's Mr.Primer Surfacer 1000, need not worry onto paint rip-off drama from PE parts.

Bring the ladder!! PE ladder sets for Su-27 family, it's okay to use on Su30 but not really accurate.

Let's take a rest here, Sukhoi series jets are really huge, this is 1/72nd scale but it still huge. 1/72 F-22 Raptor has the same length but still can't catch up with Sukhoi series when come to total area. Su-30MKM have more badass and dynamic shape, it's totally different style compared to F-22. But still, I love them both!

For the silver bling bling effect, I use Glossy Ultimate Black as the base, in order to create some REAL bling bling effect first your surface have to be completely smooth, sand it with fine grit sandpaper before you apply the black color. Mr.Hobby 028 Steel is recommend too since the Steel already have some silver element inside it, and it's much brighter than Black.

You can slowly sand it with very fine grit of sandpaper before you apply silver.
