Hi guys long time since I posted . but managed to build another railgun.
This is a 274 mm French gun with a steel plated armoured housing fielded in the summer of 1915.
The model is 11 inches long and was a lot easer than my normal builds as I did not have to build the main part of gun and breach.
I have depicted it as having a rest and receiving fruit from two sellers .

That is a beautiful result .......I'm starting to get the itch to pull my K5 out of the stash, but I worry about where I would put it after I get it completed. It has two locomotives an ammunition car and a crew quarters car all in the same box.......even in 1-87 scale it would end up over 21/2 feet long.!! By the way Barry, in your last photo there is a VERY out of scale visitor parked on the roof of your railgun. ;) Aerial recon?:thumb2: Rick H.
