HI guys latest 1 72 scale rail related scratchbuild ,this is a model of a flak car using two 88mm AA guns used by the german army .

there was a number of different types of railcars using a assortment of AA  guns ,I hope to build a few more later.

this model is built from plastic card using  the bogies from a oo gauge flatbed altered to suite 1 72 scale ,a pair of Hasegawa 88 guns and figs by Ceaser.

any comments or questions welcome.

Fantastic skills, Barry. It's all very impressive, but what really knocks me out is the painting and detail of the figures in 1/72.

Thanks Doug, I have to use a magnifer '×3, and I dont think my fig painting would be any good at 1 35. :D

Great build Barry

You certainly have a love of rail subjects and your knowledge and modelling skill really bring this to life.

Lovely work

Another cracker to add to your collection! I'd guess most of your builds would fit in a bookcase as they're not too wide. Put all your builds together and it would look a d**n site better than a row of books!

I don't know how I missed this one Barry, but I'm glad I've seen it now. Awesome work on the build and setting.
