Just finished Italian w w 1 railgun 38/40 ,scratch built and cast my own wheels and springs the model is 14 inch long and two months to build the figures are resin.
The plan I found on the internet as a 1 35 scale paper model and checking photos found it was accurate so scaled it down to 1 72 . Italy only built four of these guns during w w 1 and in 1917 were employed in support of operations in the Isonzo and Trentino sectors and compared well to German guns.
Any questions and comments welcome.

Superb work Barry. Plenty of detail to admire.

I had no idea the Italians possessed such a gun, so top marks for the bit of History enlightenment.

Fantastic scratch-building in 1/72, Barry! I particularly like all the stuff you've added on the ground next to the rails - really brings things to life.
