Hi all;
Completed this a couple of weeks ago as part of my ongoing attempt to model all of 41 Squadron's aircraft in 1/48. This is the much-maligned Academy MkXIVc; the nose is way too fat, so I replaced it with a Quickboost resin replacement nose, prop and spinner. I also used bits and pieces from a DACO resin set - radiators, wheels, gun covers. Other than the nose shape, the model is actually pretty good - goes together well, crisp surface detail.
Model represents RM797 in early 1945 when based at Volkel in the Netherlands.
