Wonderful work on the tarp mate. Was it inspired imagination or from a reference photo?
Thanks Ross ...John
Great work mate.
cheers
Ross
Dzohn, I think blend more black/dark gray/dark brown on the metal roof. Wouldn't the plates overlap the fastening nails/bolts? At least covered w/tar. I use wrist watch hands w/eyelets cut off for gun sights. They'd prolly be small enough for your use & the hands something to hang on to till cured.

Thanks mate. The roof sheets look very nice John, like the variation in color tones a lot.
Tarp is a pretty neat idea too.
Moggel on sir!
Hi John first of an apology I though I'd had already left a message but I hadn't so a big sorry for that. This is truly brilliant work it got everything and looks very real just as it would have been back then. Keep it coming sir.
One question the foam board you and Scottie are using what is it called and where do you get it from, I'm still in the dark ages and use polystyrene and plaster .
Pete.
What in this weather. You having some egg yoke !Totally awesome dudeie!!
Not sure about sticky labels on draws. Sounds like Mrs R has been around with the feather duster while you have been paddling your feet in the fish pond!!
Paul....... As you are a life member of " Where did I put that club " I thought you would appreciate this novel approach. In deed I have the bottom drawer for the odd things, and its works, if it's not in a marked up drawer it has to be in the bottom one. Simple .Labels beat pulling all the drawers looking for that length of chain. PaulE
Thanks Rick......Had too many of those !Sure beats digging through cardboard boxes!
Cheers, Rick H.
Lee....... Management can keep me in line, and as you can see it works. Steve is only like that as Matron is looking for him , he is in deep trouble !Mr. Race Steve never cut you any slack does he but some has to keep you in line
I approve - just hope the drawers are in alphabetical order, left to right and top to bottomThings put away in marked drawers
Jim....... Thank you. .....Oh , didn't do that well with the labeling , sorry, but Christine's is of great approval, she thinks the time has come !I approve - just hope the drawers are in alphabetical order, left to right and top to bottom
Joking aside this is a wonderful piece of modelling. Roof looks great. Is that Mr Hobby metal primer water or lacquer based? Does it airbrush nicely?
Jim
Oh I wish I had a man-cave John - so envious, though I don't think I'd ever keep it that tidy. The buildings are coming along superbly.
