hi guy's , thought I would come over to the dark side and try a model plane , so I picked up this little thing to start with . won't bother posting pic's of the sprue's , there's just too many of the $%$#$% thing's .
here's where I'm up too , this is primed , sprayed with Tamiya XF16 flat aluminium , and a little bit of a wash applied .

I have just seen this one, glad that you are enjoying the build. Its a good kit Steve, well engineered, but does have a few issues. The soft poor quality Airfix plastic shrinks a bit too much in this scale and can cause fit issues on the larger parts, particularly on the panels, I recommend doing a lot of dry fits. They need a lot of clean up too, as I expect you have found - Tamiya this is not.... That said with my original 1b I found it a very nice satisfying build and mine looks great on the fridge in my office....

A suggestion.... on aircraft of this scale paint masks really look much better than decals. Masketar do a set of roundels etc for the Tiffy, a really worthwhile investment.

thank's barry , I know what you mean , for the life of me I can't get the main fuel tank's to sit properly under the wing's ,as you don't see them , I'm thinking of leaving them off

You've certainly picked on a beast here, but it's all looking really good.
