Merlin's. Just today I was watching / listening to P & W R-2800 and Merlin's starting up (youtube) The Merlin is just so smooth in comparison.

Now started on the landing gear and I will only show one as the construction is the same for both.
And I have just finished off the first part on the first one

More work done today got landing gear and one engine installed in one half of the engine bay plus I added a wash to the tyres.
Also got some more parts of landing gear painted and ready to assembled

Here we are as of step 141 both undercarriage bays have now fitted with a bit of jiggery-pokery and the flaps are also fitted one engine will be left uncovered and one covered.
Still along way to go.

Time for a bit more this time it's the under belly cannons and the bomb cradle all parts have been painted a now all together ready to install into the aircraft.
Just on moan about this kit the small pipes are so fragile that I have broken and mended quite a few.

Little bit more done I have got the cannons installed in said aircraft and have finished the two bombs with a couple of messages for Mr Hitler

Here we are as of step 193 in the book and this is last night's work.
The weapons bay has been fitted out and the doors attached and also got the undercarriage doors fitted all of which had lots of ejector pin marks but I didn't bother to fill them as they won't be seen

Got a bit time to a bit more and I have started the nose machine guns and building up the interior of the nose machine gun bay and also fitting the belly canon covers

Nearly there I have got all the masking done that I need to and after two hours of spraying the results are pictured.
Just the decals and a few other bits to finish
