Hi. I am a 'returner' to model-making and this is my first attempt to ask a question so hope I am doing it right! Has anyone attempted to shorten the oleo on the old Airfix 1/24 scale Spitfire undercarriage legs. I hope to construct the model with wheels down and want to avoid the 'standing on tip-toes' look! Happy New Year!
