Like Lee I have always liked these - sort of throwback to WW1. Looks a nice kit. Quite a lot of parts. Useless fact - The Swordfish was responsible for the distruction of more Axis shipping tonnage than any other aircraft despite being considered obsolete in 1939. I look forward to seeing this come together.

Nice choice. I built the float version some time ago. I liked it so much I went on to buy the Tamiya 1:48 as well.

No construction yet as there numerous parts to paint just for the cockpit.
And here's how many.WP_20181105_07_55_35_Pro.jpgWP_20181105_07_53_40_Pro.jpgWP_20181105_07_53_31_Pro.jpgWP_20181105_07_53_10_Pro.jpgWP_20181105_07_52_39_Pro.jpgWP_20181105_07_52_27_Pro.jpgWP_20181105_07_51_57_Pro.jpg

I have now managed to get something together and it's a bit of a tight squeeze but everything seems to fit well.

I will be I thought it was a mistake with the instructions to have that color but it looks like it was right.

Yup indeed, the dope was a brick red when applied to the outside of the fabric, the dope that blead through the linnen would be a pink /red and look uneven and patchy as it was brushed on.

Here's an update from closing the fuselage and started to put some color on before adding the wings to make it easier when I get the wings on.
And I have started on the upper wings before I paint them.WP_20181107_17_35_10_Pro.jpgWP_20181107_17_51_32_Pro.jpgWP_20181107_17_51_42_Pro.jpgWP_20181108_17_18_37_Pro.jpgWP_20181108_17_27_54_Pro.jpgWP_20181108_17_35_41_Pro.jpgWP_20181108_16_18_41_Pro.jpgWP_20181108_16_19_30_Pro.jpgWP_20181108_16_21_24_Pro.jpg

Hi Peter
Nice that you can now continue with this. Once you have a part to copy I'm sure you will be able to scratch a replacement. The Carpet Monster strikes again
