Cheers guys and gal :smiling3:

If the Sherman is too small I might put it coming out the sea to cover that :smiling3:

Polux thanks for the offer but I got a rather good looking bunker in the kit thanks anyway :smiling3:

Mind you you could put them up anyway I think it would be interesting :smiling3:

Thank you chaps it's a very easy build tbh all I have to make is the base and I've been looking at some dios on here to find out the best way to get a cliff affect so it shouldn't cause me too many problems :smiling3:

Only problem is the tank will it fit ??? :D

Now after a very hectic couple of days I've had a chance to actuall start on this

This is the first part of my small cliff face , I did try to soften the front surface by heating it but although it gave me an uneven surface it did look flat so I got a knife and dragged it over the surface make it look a bit rocky but I'm in to minds as to cover it in pollyfiller or just paint it View attachment 83344

I haven't gone too mad with the surface as it is 1/72 scale

I would just paint it at that scale Al, 1/35 I would add the texture of the filler but it will look too much at 1/72.

Mate, Airfix has got a new range of D-day dio bases pre made. Look into that as they are quite useful.

Well I've made a decent start to this now but thanks for the info I very much appreciate it :smiling3:

Base is roughly done , things to once dry , sprinkle on some baking powder to soften the trench put a thin coat of filler on the top and sides to level it off then paint and detail it :smiling3: View attachment 83346
