Just bought this stuff-anybody used this before? I have heard that these Ammo Mig stuff get good reviews and are generally good, but also wanted to try out their weathering products, as they are supposedly really good

Will be using it on my Ta 152 and 1/48 Eduard Fw 190D-9 build as I wanted to try something different from my Tamiya enamel based panel washes.

I kind of agree with Patrick and Barry! I have a few of the AK interactive ones, and they are brilliant. I also make my own from oil paints, if I'm fussy about the specific hue of a wash or filter, my advice would be to try a dark brown and a beep grey/ black one, which will work in a very wide range of models. To me, the only real advantage of the bought ones is that they don't need constant stirring, which I find the home made ones do!

Like John I use both the ammo ones and make my own from artists oils and odourless thinners.

For oils I find Raw Ochre, Van Dyke Brown and Paynes Grey to be useful colours.
