My lad bought me this a couple of years ago so, hopefully, I will be getting around to getting it together after the RC events are over in the next few weeks.

I used to love it in the ’80s. Maybe ten years ago I bought a DVD set of it, but never made it beyond episode 3 or 4 or so … As per usual, old TV shows are much better in your memory than when you watch them again.

That said, I wouldn’t mind a model of the Liberator, but it seems like the only kit available is a resin one by the same manufacturer as Si’s kit, and IMHO it’s too expensive for what you get. Never mind if you also were to get the lighting set, which presumably makes the aft end of the ship pulsate — I’d probably decide to solder something together myself if I ever did decide to buy the model.
