Cheers Tommy, you certainly need patience with this stuff, it's so bloody small. :D

All the bits for the fighting compartment are done, I'm going to paint them as sub assemblies then fit and weather them before I tackle the exterior.

I also got some of the external panels on and prepped all 20 of the shells. :smiling3:

The fighting compartment is now almost finished. I actually part-weathered the parts before fitting, then stuck the gun on to see how it all looked. The compartment is a lot smaller now, and I've still got to get 3 figures in.

That looks really good Bob.

Not seen the tamiya kit in detail so very interested in seeing the parts pictures you added.

That sprue with what looks like all the track link connectors looks involved. A lot of care i guess to stop those parts flying off when you start removing them.

Like the etch parts for the ammo racks and think they are almost a must in a vehicle like this as the thinner brass will give a much more realistic look to these parts.

Hope it all continues well.

The tracks are really well designed on this kit, it even includes a "sag" template - you'd have no worries with this!

I'm hoping to get everything primed tomorrow, so tonight I got the tracks together.

I'd been putting this job off as the links (62 a side) are really small. There's a pic below of one in the tip of my locking tweezers. There's 2 sprue attachments per link, so plenty of cutting and sanding ensued.

Despite the clean up, they actually went together really well and so far have been my best attempt at link and length to date. :smiling3:

And I managed all this despite the help of this little monster. :D
