Cement for clear parts (windows/canopies)

I’ve used this too with good results.

The only problem I found is it can be a bit stringy so care is needed.

I agree that it can be a bit 'stringy', but you can use that to your advantage, laying a thin bead along the edge of a clear part, canopy sill or whatever.
