Nice car Peter. Reminds me of 1 my Dad had when I was a kid. I can still remember the reg: OFU 449G. Don't know why I remember it. It was green.

I agree with Colin's comment about the rust as it would give it more character

Stuart, I was really referring to the real thing ! My first car was a 7 year old Mk2, it was on its 3rd set of sills when I bought it. The Mk1's were no better.

i had the mk2 years ago,wish I had it now

I've only ever seen these on Wheeler Dealers; I'm glad you resisted the trend to load it up with spot lights!! Very nice little model of a nice little car.
