My Churchill AVRE is now finished to my liking, so let me bore you a bit more with a bunch of pictures of it :smiling3:

First, some shots of the real tank this model is supposed to be a replica of, so you can see exactly what I got wrong:

Hi Jakko
That is a great result. I love the contrast between a tank and a child. The dull tank is a perfect foil for the brightness of the girl. A clever idea beautifully done.

I picked blue for her dress mostly because I didn’t want her to disappear when seen against the tank, which red, green, or grey would have made more likely — it was a conscious choice, but not for genuinely artistic reasons, just a practical one :smiling3:

Terrific build all round Jakko. It was a very informative blog and the result is very nice with the little girl. Very imaginative. Great stuff:thumb2:
