In 1993 H.M.S. Triumph, a Trafalgar Class submarine, dived below the surface in the U.K., tootled around and didn't surface until 41,000 mls. later, when she bobbed up in Australia, making this (at the time) the longest submerged voyage by a British sub.

I've tried to model her as she begins her dive.

Here are a selection of pictures.....

I hope you approve.

You nailed that bow wave Ron. Love it.

You have a way with doing those sea scape's that never fails to amaze me!

Your water effects are the dogs doodads Ron! Such an excellent piece of work.

However, I'm not sure the sub crew realise there's some massive fingers after them - some new Soviet ASW weapon? ;)

Cheers

Like the water effects, looks realistic, you can almost feel the sub moving through the water

OK folks. The fun's over.

Which Photoshop programme did you use to add the hand to the picture of the real sub Ron?

If you hadn't put your hand in the way, I would have thought this was a photo of the real thing. :smiling3: :smiling3: :smiling3:

Hi Ron,

fabulous pictures but were is your model, like taking pictures from the real deal .. ;)

now for real, serious modelling there Ron, each and every time you put one of your water involved builds here it is a looker for sure.

The way you put that water in motion it looks so real, well maybe some day....... ;)

Cheers Richi

Another great piece Ron just shows what older (whoops) members can do.

Can you let me in to the secret of how you have achieved the sea bit ?
