Hi all heres my completed Civil aircraft GB . This is the old Airfix Boeing 737 -200 with the excellent Two six Britannia Airways decals and a scratch built ground tug and base . This build represents the very aircraft I had my first ever flight on in 1978 , on our first foreign family holiday to Benidorm. Heres a link to the build thread http://www.scale-models.co.uk/threa...1-144-boeing-737-200-britannia-airways.28623/ Heres the pics (thats me in the blue jumper being made to carry the fags!!) Thanks for looking as always comments /criticisms welcome , cheers tony

Great job done there.
Scratch built tug? If you had not said it I would have thought it was a kit!
I must admit, with your liking of Russian aircraft I was surprised that you did not do an Aeroflot liner....
Next time o_O ?

Beautiful result Tony. Great base and tug too, they really bring your finished 737 to life. It's fantastic that you are able to match the aircraft to your memorable trip!

Thanks everyone it was a real labour of love as its such a great memory - even though it was a 1970's package holiday and nothing extraordinary it just seemed so amazing to a 13 year old who loved aircraft. I even loved the in flight meal - potato croquettes , sausage and beans i think !!!!

Totally splendid. I'm not really into civil aircraft, but this just looks the part. Nice one.
