Thanks for the compliments folks. Yeah it sure was tricky painting that flag, the gold piping on the hat/tunic was even harder!

Regards,

Gavin.

This is great. I'm struggling with freehand painting at the moment, so I'm really impressed with that flag - impressively crisp, with regular thin white lines and no whiskery bits around the stars - I wish I could do that!

Thanks Paul,

Yeah it is difficult but judging by your skilled output you've posted on here, I'm sure you could do it!

This figure is by Sovereign 2000 resin models. They have got some interesting figures/busts if you wanna check them out...

Regards,

Gavin.

Lovely piece of painting Gavin.
I do, however, have reservations about the sculpting, he has arms like a gorilla! Of course it could be the camera angle.

Thank you Bill, was a satisfying project. Possibly the camera angle but the arms do seem to have excessive folds if that's what you mean? Some of the parts were very flimsy and brittle to, I almost lost the sword (it snapped!), had to expertly glue it back together....!

Gavin, I was referring to the length of his arms, they look like they would reach his knees. As I said it might be the camera.

The painting is spot on, love the freehand.

Yeah, they do actually seem to be a fraction too long on close inspection, just how the kit was made I suppose.

Thanks, painting a flag is a real test of skill. I'm unsure what to do for the next project!

Regards,

Gavin.
