Hi all, just completed this little tri-plane.
Altough a weekend edition (kit no.8492) you get some superfabric seatbelts.:hugging-face:
Some progress pics:

I built it OOB with only Ushi van der Rosten fine and standard wire for the tension and control cables.
Painted it with Vj 71.003 Red for the main colour, the details were painted using Revell enamels except the guns, those were painted with Humbrol gun-metal cote.
All finished off with a coat of VJ satin varnish and gloss for the prop:

Overall a pretty good kit that can be easily built and rewards one with a WW1 plane without a bunch of rigging to contend with.:nerd:
Only the landing gear assembly gave me the most troubles and dropping it during painting didn't help either, so it's slightly out of alignment....

Thanks for looking in and all comments are welcome.

Hi Fernando, I've been thinking of getting me a Fokker from Eduard as well. Yours defo looks good mate, nicely done! How did those fabric seatbelts come together? Got me a set for a 109 recently but haven't tried them yet.

Cheers

Many thanks for the kind words guys, much appreciated!:hugging-face::thumb2:

Wouter, the seatbelts were pretty easy to install, they're made from some rubbery substance so once from the paper they're a bit floppy to get in the right place.
Just make sure to use pva to glue them in, Revell also did a re-boxing of this one Allen Dewire made one of those last year think it didn't came with seatbelts though.

Hi Fernando
These 1/48 Eduard kits do seem pretty good. You have made a fine job of this Fokker.

Very nice. I've built a couple of Eduard WW1 offerings in the 'profi-pack' line and always enjoyed them. Eduard WW1 offerings really are good, and this is one I haven't built = on the shopping list.

Have to agree with other comments this is truly a nice looking DR1 and very well presented too.
I ha e the Revell 1/28 but there's a lot of work in that as its a very old kit.
I may invest in a wee Fokker from Eduard myself.

Regards

Robert
