Finally finished the build. Enjoyed building the kit and it goes together very well. External colours are MRP and these airbrush beautifully, finish is the Winsor and Newton Professional Satin Varnish. For those interested the carrier deck is a self print pdf from Coastal Models.

Spot on Dave, and you've managed the old trick of making a 1:72 look like a larger scale. And a big thanks for the heads up about the deck. This could be just what I need for my current build.

Looks great, Dave. I particularly like the staining and chipping - just the right amount in this scale and really enhances the build.

They do a whole range of decks and airfield, if I remember it was about £2.50 for a pdf and you can print as many times as you like.
